You don’t have to choose between quiet and convenient. The chateau sits on its own creek in the North Georgia mountains, and downtown Blue Ridge is ten minutes away — as are tubing, fishing and the trailheads.
The creek
Clover Creek runs the length of the flat backyard. Cool your feet on a hot afternoon, let the kids hunt for crawdads, and fall asleep to the sound of it.
The hot tub
Room for six, under the stars, on the covered lower patio.
The screened porch
400 square feet of it — big enough for a card game, a long dinner, or a morning coffee with nobody swatting at anything.
The fire pit
Somewhere to roast s’mores, tell the ghost story, and look up at a sky you can’t see from Atlanta.

That’s the part most cabins can’t promise. Two queens in two private bedrooms, plus four beds in the loft, covers all eight — the sofa bed in the living room is spare, not part of the plan.

The loft is open rather than a third private room — which is exactly why the kids claim it within ten seconds of arriving.

Wonderful place to disconnect! Very close to local attractions and national forest areas for fishing or hiking. Very comfortable and designed to have a great time with your group. The outdoor space makes the home feel much larger. Space to bring a boat if you plan on floating the Toccoa as well!

Where We’re Located
Ten minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, in the North Georgia mountains near the Tennessee line — about 90 minutes north of Atlanta. The map shows the approximate area; we share the exact address and driving directions once your stay is booked.
When to Visit
Blue Ridge is a true four-season climate — mild spring and fall, hot summers, and cold winters that sometimes bring snow. Every season is a different stay.

About the Owners

All those photos? That’s us — the owners, plus our friends and family, enjoying Clover Creek Chateau just like you will.
We bought the land and developed it into the property we now share with you. We didn’t do it to make money. In fact we don’t expect to make any; we just want to make a dent in the note so we can enjoy it too.
We love the mountains. Back in 2023 we decided to build a retreat from our busy lives in Atlanta, where we renovate homes for our Northeast Atlanta community through our company Light Box Homes.
We found the lot thanks to Todd Withrow, pulled permits, then graded and laid the foundation with Phil Freitag of Modern Mountain LLC. After that, Lena and the Light Box Homes team finished the job.
We hope you love your stay. We certainly did our best to build our own love of real estate, the mountains and family into this place.
